Quarrington hill is our nearest village and Cassop has many close ties with this community . We share St Pauls Church and our men worked and toiled together at East Hetton Colliery , Our children went to the same school that still exists to this day , Our local Bus service for many years was the G&B from Quarrington-Hill , And we share Cassop Vale and the Elephants Cematary ....We are also wanting more photos for our site , please e.mail Kevin if you have any Quarrington Hill related photos , prints or cuttings or require copies .
